If you are renting or looking to rent, it is important you understand your rights. Jeff Kersten with the Wisconsin Bureau of Consumer Protection will discuss the rights and responsibilities of landlords and tenants and share resources available to help you. Matthew White with the Wisconsin Equal Rights Division will discuss prohibitions against discrimination in housing, requirements for reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities, and what you can do if you believe your rights have been violated in those areas.
