No more trips to Madison to find out how much Wisconsin
candidates are raising and spending. No more expensive photo copying to detail the top
individual and political action committee (PAC) contributors. Now, thanks to the
non-partisan Wisconsin Democracy Campaign, just log on and follow the money. The
web site includes:
- total raised, total spent, cash on hand for all
candidates
- lists of individual contributors for selected candidates
- lists of political action contributions to selected
candidates
- a guide to the special interest groups making independent
expenditures
- daily tracking of how much the independent groups are
spending and where

The Alliance for Better Campaigns and the Campaign Legal
Center's Media Policy Program merged in early 2005. The Alliance, in its new
role as the Legal Center's Media Policy Program, will continue advocating
for legal and policy reforms that reduce the cost and increase the flow of
political communication on the nation's publicly owned airwaves. It will
also help shape political broadcasting policy by promoting awareness and
enforcement of political broadcasting laws through FCC rulemaking
proceedings, congressional action and public education.
