Voting Rights, Voting Fights: Securing the Ballot During American History. Ann Bausaum will present an illustrated talk about key milestones in the long path to more equitable voting rights in America.

This program is free and open to the public and is co-sponsored by the Janesville League of Women Voters, the Hedberg Public Library Youth Services and Adult Services, and the Nancy B. Parker Endowment Fund.

Copies of Bausum's books will be available for sale and signing after the program.

Lunch and Learn--Topic: Elder Economic Securlity Initiative in Wisconsin (EESI). What does it cost for older adults to age in place with dignity in Rock County? Are more seniors coming to food pantries to get enough to eat?

Learn the answers at this Lunch and Learn event. The presentation is by Johanna Hatch of the Wisconsin Women's Network. A recent study found many senior citizens in Wisconsin don't earn enough money to meet their basic living expenses.
