City Council Candidate Forum March 2

A Janesville City Council Candidate Forum is scheduled for Tuesday evening, March 2, 2010, at 6:00p.m., at the Hedberg Public Library program room. The Janesville League of Women Voters and JATV are cosponsoring this opportunity for the four candidates to express their views on issues faced by the city. The public is invited to attend and submit questions as time permits.

The forum will be video taped and replayed on JATV several times before the election. The playback schedule will be distributed that night.

Informed voters is the goal of the the League. According to president, Kay Deupree, the League is a political, but strictly nonpartisan organization that does not support candidates, even in nonpartisan local elections.
